Dean's Live Setup
Thanks to Mike Korn for typing this up:
November 2000.
Dean runs one of his numberous '70s Les Paul Standards into a Dunlop modified (I'm pretty sure it's a true bypass modification) Cry Baby wah, and then uses a vintage Boss CE-1 Stereo Chorus to split the signal. One side is fed to a Varidrive overdrive pedal then into a Vox AC-30 reissue; the other side is sent to a Demeter preamp, then through a Rocktron Intellifex for effects before driving a VHT classic power amp and a Marshall 4x12 cabinet fitten with Celestion 30 speakers. A Rockman MidiPedal controls a Rockman Octopus which is used to switch Intellifex programs and the Demeter's channels. For acoustic work, Dean employs either his Gibson J-45, a Guild JF-65 12 string, or a Yamaha FG-60 through a Demeter tube box.
